(Lynchburg, Va.) Oct. 14, 2005 – N.B. Handy Company announces that it has been chosen as the exclusive distributor of the Westinghouse brand of HVAC equipment at its three Carolina distribution centers.

The centers, located in Charlotte, N.C., Greensboro, N.C., and Columbia, S.C., will offer a full range of sales and service for the Westinghouse brand’s extensive product line, which is manufactured by Nordyne, Inc. of St. Louis, Mo.

According to Sam Meeks, vice president of sale for N.B. Handy Company, Westinghouse is a premium brand with exceptional product engineering. “We’re honored to be awarded the Westinghouse distributorship at these Carolina locations because we know that our customers will appreciate the quality and the range of products in the Westinghouse line,” he says.

Meeks points out that Westinghouse air conditioners and heat pump efficiency ratings range from 10 to 16 SEER, among the highest in the industry. “Top efficiency combined with an excellent warranty program gives Westinghouse brand HVAC equipment an excellent reputation among contractors and customers alike,” he says.
