Lynchburg, Va. (September 7, 2007)-- N.B. Handy Company hosted a Grand Opening Celebration on August 8 and August 9, 2007 at its newest branch location in Boca Raton, Florida. The company welcomed guests at a cocktail party on the evening of August 8 which incorporated messages from the Boca Raton branch’s general manager, Palmer Young, and N.B. Handy president and CEO, Mitch Reaves, with a traditional ribbon-cutting ceremony. The mayor of Boca Raton, Steven L. Abrams, did the honors.

“We are excited to be in Boca as N.B. Handy’s representative in southern Florida. We were thrilled to welcome so many new customers and prospects to our cocktail party and open house,” said Young. New customers had an opportunity to meet and greet the branch staff and several company executives as well as interact with the vendors N.B. Handy represents. With a history going back to 1891, N.B. Thursday, August 9th brought extremely hot weather along with N.B. Handy’s Open House. Manufacturers set up displays in the distributor’s warehouse for contractors to see their product offerings. BBQ was served for lunch and many door prizes were awarded.
