Lynchburg, Va. (January 9, 2008)-- N.B. Handy Company of Lynchburg, Va., has recognized Classic Air out of Waldorf, MD as the 2007 Dealer of the Year for Westinghouse products in the Northern region, which includes Virginia, Maryland, and eastern Tennessee.

The award was presented by David Wadsworth, N.B. Handy HVAC Equipment Sales Manager, at the second annual Northern Region dealers’ meeting held at Wintergreen Resort in Wintergreen, VA.

Also recognized for Outstanding Sales Performance in 2007 were Mt. Vernon Heating & A/C out of Chantilly, VA and Air Doctor out of Christiansburg, VA.

N.B. Handy Company is Virginia and Maryland’s exclusive distributor for Westinghouse’s extensive HVAC equipment product line, which is manufactured by Nordyne, Inc. of St Louis, MO. According to N.B. Handy Vice President Sales-HVAC, Sam Meeks, the two-day meeting gave the company an opportunity to recognize and reward the outstanding efforts of its dealers, as well as educate them on new products, services and marketing strategies for 2008. N.B. Handy’s Westinghouse Dealers and their guests from the northern region attended the event.

Philip Windham, Director of Sales for Nordyne, Inc., also recognized the dealers for their aggressive sales in 2007.
