Location: Raleigh NC
Position Summary: Serves as a liaison between the branch, the field and HVAC contractors; provides service to contractors in terms of product knowledge, price quoting, and delivery; follows up on all bid projects, keeping other sales team members aware of status; maintains record of market for competitive situations, alerting other sales team members of the same; advises Account Managers of pertinent credit situations and other sales/account information needed; maintains a consistent call schedule and prospects new accounts to determine sales opportunities; responsible for calling customers on a regular basis to increase sales; processing customer orders via phone and in-person; and assisting with any and all customer concerns including billing issues.
Requirements: HS diploma, college degree preferred; previous construction materials sales experience preferably in HVAC highly desired (will consider other materials sales experience such as electrical, plumbing, concrete, windows, doors, etc.); completion of a sales/customer service trainee program a strong plus; proficient computer skills with Microsoft Office; strong communication skills and customer service focus; must be enthusiastic, have positive attitude, be a team player; ability to work in a fast-paced environment, possess excellent organizational skills, and be a self-starter with a strong work ethic. The successful candidate will need to be motivated by a competitive industry and be results-oriented.
